What is Microneedling and what does it treat?

Microneedling is a treatment that causes a controlled injury to the skin yo stimulate and increase collagen up to 300% when done in series. It can improve lines and wrikles on the face, neck and decolletage, to adressing aging due to sun damage and for the treatment of acne scarring. It can also be used on on other parts of the body to treat things like stretch marks, improve skin texture, skin tightness, conjested skin, enlarged pores, dullness of skin, pigmentation and overall skin rejuvenation.

What are the benefits of microneedling?

Are there any restrictions for who can be treated?

If you are generally healthy and done have any active skin diseases of infections in the area being treated, you are fine to receive treatment. Microneedlng is not suitable for clients who have active Eczema, keloid scars, psoriasis and other chronic conditions. We do not treat over rosacea, active acne, open wounds, sunburns or other inflammatory conditions. Please wait until you are healed before booking in. We are unable to treat if you have been on Accutane within the past year, currently breast feeding or pregnant.

What is aftercare like?

Your homecare is extreamly important for the healing process to ensure that your skin does not become infected and for you to achive optimal results and treatment benefits. you wil be provided with homecare instructions.

What will my skin look like after Microneedling?

Your skin will look slightly pink and may look and feel like a sunburn anywhere from 24-48 hours, by the third day you will notice the redness go down tremendously.
